La empresa Trabajos Especiales Zut ha sido contratada por el Ayuntamiento de Torrelavega para que proceda a la rehabilitación de la chimenea industrial de La Lechera con un coste de 11.130 euros, , que incluye la inspección y el saneo del fuste de la construcción. Los trabajos comenzarán en las próximas semanas.

En concreto, se procederá a la inspección exterior con técnicas de escalada de toda la superficie de la chimenea retirando todos los elementos que tengan riesgo de caída, estando previsto proteger todas las zonas picadas y con falta de ladrillo mediante un producto a base de cemento y resinas epoxi.

Los trabajos concluirán con el sellado provisional de grietas para evitar la entrada de agua, a fin de evitar que se puedan provocar nuevos desprendimientos como los ocurridos en los últimos meses.

La empresa realizará un informe de reparación de la chimenea que servirá como anteproyecto para futuras intervenciones de mantenimiento, dado que la intención es realizar a «corto plazo» el proyecto de reforma integral del recinto de La Lechera

Y digo yo, ¿se habrán informado primero que las chimeneas no se hacían con cemento y menos con epoxi? ¿No sería mejor con mortero de cal, como originalmente? Habrá un estudio previo para ver su estabilidad?

The company will carry out a report on the repair of the chimney that will serve as a preliminary project for future maintenance interventions, given that the intention is to carry out the «short term» project for the comprehensive reform of the La Lechera site.

And I wonder, have you been informed first that the chimneys were not made with cement and epoxy? Would not it be better with lime mortar, as originally? Will there be a previous study to check its stability?
